...well I did it - got up about 4:40am and did some work- yippeee - don't feel too bad at the moment either and just in the midst of the bath/bed routine - my own as well as the kids! Now it takes 21 days to make a habit doesn't it - or 28 for slow-pokes like me... one down then...
Now I have a TREAT for you - a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG treat. One fabulous guest blogger coming your way with one heck of a fabulous excerpt and a wonderful book to win... be back tomorrow!!!

Well done you!
I'm all for starting off small and slow, definitely best to ease yourself into these sort of things.
Bet you have the whole routine sussed in a couple of weeks and the words will just fall from your finger tips.
Aideen.
Yay you!!!!
Hmmmmm, well I was a complete failure this morning! Went to bed early enough but was up to 3/4 kids thru the night and then at the crucial hour one of the twins was in ultra light sleep mode and I had to have a hand on her to keep her settled. No point in getting up if a babe is going to get up too. Might have to face facts, get hard, grit my teeth and bite the bullet (and add another cliche) and just eat more chocolate at night!!!!
Has anyone ever tried 'talking' their story into a dictaphone? You could be doing the ironing (or not!) and be creating away, or sending the kids to sleep with a romantic dramatic story, or weeding the garden while weeping into your tape recorder, and then later on all you have to do is type it up! Apparently Barbara Cartland used to just lie on her couch in a feather and chiffon negligee eating chocolates and drinking champagne while dictating her stories to her PA...
LOL Annie - I just couldn't do that.... I rewrite/change words as I go a lot so it wouldn't make snese - I'd be 'no wait a minute... ummm...' - I use the backspace key WAAAAAAAAY to much. What I want is some weird sci-fi thing i can plug into my head that would just capture my thoughts - that'd be good.... talking is too slow :)
The choccies and champers do sound good tho!
