...well, ok, for me too because I just LOVE this movie - had a thing for Daniel Day Lewis for a long time as a result of course... it's pretty brutal (several 'look away' moment for me - but there is a lot going on in this film and I think its great. So is the soundtrack.
Meanwhile the kidlets are doing better and the postie brought me a new Japanese translation which was lots of fun :)

Who doesn't have a thing for Daniel? The man is every character he plays, he has talent like none other.
Such a wonderful movie, soundtrack, setting. So many scenes to select but while I cried at more than two...or three, I'd have to say that the ending had me gulping.
When his 'adopted' father is stating that he is the last of the Mohicans just leaves me heartbroken. The line ends with him and much as he loves Daniel's character he is not Mohican by blood. Terrifying to know you're the last of your people.
Excellent choice.

Yeah I thought it was a goodie Aideen - and yep, he is one taleneted man Mr DDL... and very intense looking too :)

Yay you posted it! Gosh it really is just one of the best films! I wish I had YouTube at work and could watch the clip... Unfortunately us public servant types don't get to watch fun things on the tax payers' dollar. Fair enough I suppose...
