This week ahead is a busy one here in The Plotting Shed. I have a deadline to meet, more story to write, a festival to go and an extra poppet to mother for most of the week.
I'm also out and about a bit online. I'm so thrilled to be helping the wonderful Kate Hardy celebrate her 50th book with Harlequin Mills & Boon! Kate is the most amazing writer and also a fantastic person and friend. I'll be on her blog with a giveaway on Tuesday August 28.
I'll also be at Tote Bags and Blogs on Tuesday with another giveaway :)
And with the sun hopefully continuing to shine (and Spring only just around the corner), I'm planning on putting a few more things in the garden around the Shed--we lost a few trees in the snow this winter. Plus, I'm getting out the summer-fun toys and giving them a clean-up so they're ready to use in the next few weeks. Yay!!!
Hope you've got some fun plans for the week--let's have a good one :)

Blogging here and there...

Nice review and blogging away from home...
Dani is smart, independent, and sexy. But most compelling about Dani is her strength. She’s been deeply scarred by life but she’s made the best of it by relying solely on herself. Even more interesting is that Dani is sarcastic and a romantic-pessimist who doesn’t believe in love-at-first-sight nor soul mates. This makes Dani an unusual Harlequin heroine as all these personality traits are usually those of Harlequin heroes. But as a reader it was so emotionally fulfilling to watch Dani stop living life as a loner and grow to love and trust Alex.
While true that Dani is an excellent heroine, Alex is her perfect hero... a departure from the traditional power-wielding, manipulative boss often found in the secretary/boss romances. He is warm, caring, and is the perfect counter-weight to Dani’s tough exterior.
... As Alex and Dani’s emotional relationship deepens so too does their physical relationship. This makes for a sensual read that is based less on the physical mechanics of who-does-what-to-whom-and-where and more about emotional connection through physical intimacy.
... it is a satisfying emotional romance with two lead characters readers will adore.
