One week...

...and one day 'til I hit 'send' on this new wip to the Ed so its been head down for me and will be for the next few days. It's going 'ok' tho (which will probably mean tons of revisions! - LOL) and that little feeling of satistfaction is sneaking up on me. The sheer relief and also joy at realising that I've just written a whole book - another one! I can't tell you WHAT a buzz this is. And even if it does end up needing lots more work that's ok too - that's just part of it and it all makes it better.
But right now, I'm going to tinker with the last few thousand words that need tinkering and spell check and proof and proof and TRY to ensure all the pieces are in place.
Then I'm going to sit back and enjoy the pleasure of completion - for the full thirty seconds before the panic strikes ;)

Congratulations! What number book is that for you? I love that done feeling. Then you get to take a breath or two before it all starts over again...
